The European project 'MediCulture: Media(c)tion between Cultures' is a project under Erasmus+ Programme / Strategic Partnerships for Exchange of Good Practices in the Adult Education sector, funded by the European Commission, between Italian, Portuguese and Spanish organizations.

This project aims at sharing experiences and good practices with the objective of providing adult educators/facilitators with essential tools for the development of intercultural competences, in particular social skills, the ability to relate and empathize with others, the translation of cultural codes and the ability to overcome prejudices and stereotypes to develop idiosyncrasies of the educational centers or organizations that are part of this project.

During the project, 5 trainings will be developed and implemented. The added value of the training activities that we want to include in the project is related to the possibility of learning new skills from the comparison between associations and institutions that operate in different territories and in different ways (formal education and non-formal education) in the intercultural field and being able to compare different methods of intervention as well as reflect on different approaches to be adopted. In fact, we believe that the different contexts in which the 3 organizations in the project operate can also influence new methodologies of intervention.
